"Have you ever waited for the bus at the Maritime Transit Station? The reason it is so clean is because of a woman from Manitowoc named Marlene, who is also a client in our Integrated Employment Program. Marlene cleans the Transit Station five days a week. She started off working three times a week with a job coach and learned the required skills to do her job. Then she was asked to clean five days a week and now is 100 % on her own. Being able to have a job in the community has made Marlene so happy. It is the first thing she talks about when she sees her peers and family members."
